BULGARIA'S BUTTERFLIES.


Here are a few shots of some of the Butterflies we saw in Bulgaria.
Not sure how many species we saw in total but somewhere around 75-80 would not be far out.
There were many types of Fritillary and as we all know, many look very similar with
 their wings open and totally different with them closed so that was a challenge.

BULGARIA

We have recently come back from a holiday in Bulgaria. 
It was mostly for Dragonflies and Butterflies but we did also do some birding.

 We saw quite a few Dragonflies infested with Mites. 
 Not sure how long they can survive like this.
