Black Darters

These Black Darters are a first for us. We were surprised at how many there were and
how they seemed to like landing on all things human.

This one is on my arm. I was extremely nervous, even though they are harmless.
All I could hear was John telling me to keep still. Sue

  23. Hello!
I am quite impressed to discover the black Darter here!
I have been taking pictures of dragonflies for a couple of years in the south of France and I still haven't seen them!
I believe they live in altitude!
Well done, I feel jealous!! :))
