This is a selection of recent insect shots. The Privet Hawk-Moth was found (as a chrysalis) in the garden of our friend Nigel, who brought it around for John to see, once it had pupated.
The insect world is so fascinating,and you've done a superb job of capturing this wonderful selection.Like the shot of the tiny insect on the earwigs back!!

Awsome macro work! My favourites, for personal reasons, are the hawk moth and the earwig with the smaller insect on its back. But they're all brilliant!!
Truly brilliant macro captures! Fantastic detail. It's very difficult to select a favorite as they all are fabulous. It's always a pleasure to stop by and view your spectacular photographs!
