IN THE GARDEN.

These Bullfinches have been visiting the garden regularly but
it was a nice surprise to find a large Stick Insect.

BULLFINCH

BULLFINCH

I can't believe these jaws. Like something out of Predator.

  7. Flippin heck John!! There was me getting excited about seeing Stick Insects in the Scillies, and getting rubbish photos of them, and you come up with one in your garden and get utterly fantastic images! They're all brilliant, but I really love the detail in the last two.

Love your Bullfinches too! Sadly, our Bullfinches deserted us in September when the feeders ran out whilst we were away in Dorset.

    Best wishes - - - Richard

And that stick insect is prickly!!
    In France they are smooth!
What a laugh to the jaws up close, would they be a meter long, I would run! LOL!
