Here are a few more shots from our recent trip to Texas and New Mexico. Apologies if any are mis-named.
We have put them in single file this time, to see if it makes any difference. Thanks to everyone that offered their advice.

Wow, great selection John, some superb plumage/colour amongst these images.
ReplyDeleteFantastic images love that Ibis but all are very very good like the way they are presented as well.
ReplyDeleteEvery single one of these images is fabulous! Amazing birds too! I like this new layout on your blog, with sequential photos, and labels - makes it comfortable to follow.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant!! They're all very good. Loved seeing the Whooping Crane. I believe they're on the endangered list.
ReplyDeleteI'm in awe! They're spectacular!!!
ReplyDeleteAnother fantastic set John & Sue, can't pick a favorite I love em all.
ReplyDeleteGood to see your getting the flight shots sorted out. and the new layout looks fine

Stunning series of shots! In flight captures are spectacular.I especially like the one of the White-faced Ibis, the colours are fabulos.
ReplyDeleteRegards.
Lovely photos! What a wonderful array of birds you saw both on this post and the last. It must have been a fantastic holiday and good to get away from our gloomy weather for a while I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteI too had all sorts of problems putting my last post together. I always found Blogger temperamental but it seems even worse lately! I particularly had problems putting line spaces where I wanted them, they were fine in draft but not in preview. I had to keep closing Firefox and opening again and then adjusting the spacing...so frustrating and time consuming!!
I meant to say I particularly liked the Snowy Egret in its big yellow shoes ;-)
ReplyDeleteVery nice serie, the Crested caraca is the best one ;-)
ReplyDeleteThank-you everyone for your kind comments. We had a great holiday and have always found the USA great for birding. Most of the flight shots were taken by Sue.
ReplyDeleteAs for posting, we agree with ShySongbird, so frustrating and time consuming.
Hi JR and Sue
ReplyDeleteI was hoping that you might donate your excellent Caracara shot to my free online Birds of Vancouver Island at http://picasaweb.google.com/pat.mary.taylor. It would be greatly appreciated. Please write pat.mary.taylor@gmail.com
