We have been out after Butterflies over the last few days. Today we went to Breney Common were we saw around a dozen Marsh Fritillaries.

Gorgeous variety of butterflies! I also love your roadrunner header. Beautiful photos.
ReplyDeleteSuperb set john and sue, I see you got the orange tip with wings open, I found them impossible, always on the move.

Sigh. I have butterfly photograph envy. Your pictures are stunning (so are the butterflies)!
ReplyDeleteSimply exquisite!
ReplyDeleteFabulous set of images! I'm particularly fond of Fritillaries - particularly the Marsh Fritillary! Wish we had a few more Fritillaries in these parts! Let's hope some better weather allows the butterflies to recover from last summer's disasterous weather!
ReplyDeleteSplendid ! The Orange-Tip is my favorite...
ReplyDeleteBrilliants images. Are so precious.. Cheers..
