Editing these is not Sues favourite job!!  John
WASP SPIDER

This Wasp Spider sitting on the edge a small envelope gives some indication of their size.
Some are quite large, espescially the females.

  9. The only time I found one of these, I was leading a group of about 40 people in Bosnia almost exactly five years ago. I called them over, and I think that most of the group took photos of it. I'd never dreamed that a spider as spectacular as this could exist in UK! Fabulous!

  13. John! Well documented photographs of wasp spiders. High quality images. In January 2014 I saw a colony of spider which I photographed and by going through your images I could identify it as a wasp spider.
