WE HAVE BEEN OUT AROUND THE COAST AGAIN IN THE LAST
FEW DAYS, ONCE TO THE NEWQUAY AREA AND YESTERDAY TO
PORTHLEVEN AND ON TO GWITHIAN.
SURPRISED AT HOW MANY PEREGRINES ARE AROUND.
ALSO LOTS OF BUTTERFLIES AND DRAGONFLIES.

Beautiful pictures.. Love the picture number eleven.. Congrats..
ReplyDeleteIt is really encouraging to hear that Peregrines are numerous. There was a time not too many years ago when we thought we might never say that again. The picture of the Linnet is superb. And the others are not too shabby either, John!
ReplyDeleteScarlet Tiger Moth. Beautiful butterfly. Great photos. Have a nice evening.
ReplyDeleteButterflies are so beautiful. And your bird photos.. Wow.
ReplyDeleteLovely set. The GRD wins it for me though. Relatively scarce in Kent.
ReplyDeleteThanks Mark. GRD is actually my favourite Dragonfly. Sue
DeleteThat's an amazing and varied selection there.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos, I think the common blue is actually a male silver studded blue?
ReplyDeleteHi Stuart, Always glad to be corrected. I will have to check it. Sue
DeleteGreat series of pics. I love them all!. Photo 11 is very special!
ReplyDeleteBest regards,
Maria
What a fabulous collection of images! I was quite surprised to see your Green Hairstreak as it's quite late for them. I was highly amused by your Peregrine shot of it flying over someone's head - priceless!!
ReplyDeleteMy very best wishes to you and Sue - - - Richard
Hi Richard, We walked the Porthleven Coastpath and there were quite a few of them. Sue
