This is a selection of some of the birds we saw in 2008. We hold our hands up to a bit of twitching for the Hooded Merganser and ( distant )Common Crane, but we were visiting family up country and got them on the way down.
Hello John and Sue!! Ian (JS) here. Can't believe you got pictures of the Snowy Owl, very jealous!! I have some photos here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/31112982@N03/ Not many bird ones though, I can't seem to convince Sian I need the £1,000 zoom lens I want!! I'll have too focus on the landscape stuff for now!!
