Sharks, Birds and Butterflies

We had a brilliant day out yesterday at St. Gothian Sands and Nanquidno. The first set of
pics are from St.Gothian.




There were a lot of Basking Sharks in the Bay at Nanquidno, probably making their way
around to Sennen Cove.

  6. Great images John and Sue lots of basking sharks in Mounts Bay we saw A few yesterday and sun fish hope this is a sign of a good summer.

  11. Wow great shots as usual!! but my eyes were instantly drawn to the lovely Blue Moth/butterfly? such livid coloring...so nice. Oh and thank you for your lovely commpliment about my blog I'm so glad that both you and Sue enjoy it....I was quite taken by surpise when Frank nominated me :)

  15. You have a lot of photos here...and those sharks! Yikes...there are a lot in the water. I just got back from my vacation to the ocean (I've fallen so far behind on visiting blogs) and the life guards cleared the waters 3 times because sharks were sighted. Made me a bit nervous to get back in the water (but I did anyway!). Per your comment: yes, I love Cornish Rex cats. I have one named Bip. His breed was developed in Cornwall, England. Are they popular in your town? He is the sweetest cat...I need to post a few more photos of him.
