Went to Hayle in search of the Ruddy Shelduck and Curlew Sandpiper but didn't see either one.
We made up for it at Land's End with the Wryneck (quite distant) and a Hobby demolishing a Dragonfly. In all we saw at least 3 different Hobbys (Hobbies ?).
The Wrynecks John were probably the best birds i have ever watched. An absoloute treat...
