We went to Porth Reservoir on Saturday for the Ring-necked Duck. This was the first male we've seen but it stayed too far away, even for digi-scoping, so this is just a record shot.
We also went to Walmsley Sanctuary and even there, everything kept it's distance. Nice to bump into Steve Rogers and his wife, and a big thanks to Steve for all his camera advice(Sue).
Hi,
ReplyDeleteWell you still got a picture of this ring necked duck which is quite good! Well done! beautiful collection again, especially the buzzard and the little grebe with the fish (seems to be a stickleback)! great job!
Any pic of a rarity is an acheivement! And once again, with the Buzzard, you have done justice to a bird which is hard to photograph well!
ReplyDeleteAll this makes me pine for the sunny south-west!
Nice set of photos the buzzard ones are great
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots of the buzzard and the shot of the little grebe with the fish in its mouth is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant Buzzard photograph John or Sue. I think you have well and truly mastered a very difficult photography medium John. I know just how hard it is out in the field ..but you make it look oh so easy. Well done.
ReplyDeleteSupurb set of pics again and that Buzzard has me green with envy. "Fan- blooming-tastic "
