A weeks birding.

We haven't done much birding since getting back from Gambia, but here are some shots taken over the last week or so, Mostly from St.Clements, Hayle and Marazion. Is this Warbler a Chiffchaff? It's not a very good image but the underparts and throat were very white, not at all buffish. Seems a lot of white for a Chiffy.

These 2 Buzzards were hunting together at St. Gothian Sands. Not sure if they are a pair or
an adult with a young one.

Included this shot of the Moon just because I like it. Sue

  4. John/sue - I think the Buzzards are 1 x ad with 1 x juv/sub-adult. Note there is no yellow in the bill of the sub-adult/juv as well as all the white.

  5. Well first, a bit late, but happy new year.
Well not much birding but at least quite a good number of nice pictures.. I love the kingfisher one and the avocet, but all of them are really good. You started the year very well.
