Poor show again todaybut we did have great views of a Golden Plover in breeding plumage at Ryan's Field along with Common Sandpiper and Whimbrel. Nothing much at Gothian except for Linnets and Sand Martins. Sedge Warbler was taken at Marazion and Cetti's were singing well .
Swift were also at Marazion and Sue managed a distant fly-over shot.
Some lovely shots on your blog tonight. V impressive.
ReplyDeleteAgree with Angie..nice collection. We still have one more week of dog watch left before we venture forth again.
ReplyDelete...I love the little Sedge Warbler! Very nice photos...
ReplyDeleteGood shots there; love that Linnet bathing.
ReplyDeletePretty good at hiding, those Sedge Warblers. Good shots framed by the plants.

Lovely collection of images. We've still not seen a Swift here, plent of swallows about while we were out yesterday though.
ReplyDeleteWonderful group of photos. I especially like the sedge warblers.
ReplyDeleteThe angle of the Goldem Plover on the edge of that channel, the shot of the Whimbrel on that first small island and the Common Sandpiper on the edge of the field. Three people 2 Male One Female, digiscoping with a Nikon Coolpix. Dont tell me that was you John and Sue if so I am so sorry it just did not click, and you were Talking to Mark and I walked on to Photo the Common Sand.
ReplyDeleteThanks all, as you know we are not photographers but Birders who take pictures and we cann't compete with the professionals but we must be doing something right.
ReplyDeleteHi Monty,
When we saw your pics we realised it must have been you, sorry we didn't recognise you. I'm sure we'll bump into each other again. John
