Spent four hours walking around Porthgwarra and saw very little. Everything seemed to be sheltering from the rain. The only thing we saw a lot of were Painted Lady Butterflies but because of the rain they mostly kept their wings closed.
Beautiful photos! They are especially interesting to me as they are birds that don't live in North America, with the exception of the magpie. It's amazing what variety there is in the bird world.
Wow! What an absolutely glorious collection of birds and convenient connections to other noteworthy bird blogs. I am a newcomer to bird photography. My eyes were opened to birds on a trip to Australia ... and I suddenly realized that the birds in my own backyard had distinct beauty as well. I am so delighted you found me so that I could see what you are up to. Bravo! NikonSniper Steve
