Dippers and Corvids.

Thought I'd better post some birds instead of Moths. These were taken yesterday and today in and around Truro. As you can see this young Raven hasn't quite got all his feathers but he's still practising his flying. For all our American friends, I have included a shot of Truro Cathedral, the 2 smaller Spires have been cleaned, hopefully the rest will soon follow.

The Dipper was busy feeding young. I took the young Rook for a comparison with the Raven.

  4. Absolutely wonderful photos! They are all beautiful, but I especially like the raven shots. Ravens are one of the birds that hang around Fairbanks during our cold winters and I enjoy watching their antics. You have done a superb job of capturing this young one.

  6. When we lived in Alaska, there were Ravens all around. They are just huge birds and very raucous!
