We spent a couple of hours walking around Marazion Marsh to-day, as did a lot of other birders, looking for the Citrine Wagtail and Spotted Crake. Managed to get the Wagtail (pity about the grass), but no sign of the Crake. There was nothing else about except for these lovely Migrant Hawkers.

Bits and Pieces
We spent nearly 4 hours sea-watching at Pendeen today (only the 3rd or 4th time we've done this) . No pictures, which is what we expected but we thoroughly enjoyed it and intend to do more. Got a couple of lifers into the bargain so that can't be bad.
John went to Stithians last weekend so here are some pictures from there and from around the garden and from when I've been walking the dog.

Hayle Estuary and St.Gothians.
This is our first posting for several weeks. Firstly John was working nights and then we were away for our sons wedding so that put us behind with the blog but then disaster struck!
The computer crashed so badly that we lost everything from January 1st. PC World tried but everything got scrambled! Most of our best stuff is on the blog and I know that I can 'right click' and 'save as', but the picture saves as little more than a thumbnail and trying to enlarge it just breaks up the pixels. This is better than nothing I suppose but if anyone knows of a way to send the pictures from the blog to a folder on the (new) computer in a decent size I would be very greatful. These are what we still had on a memory card from the last couple of weeks.
