Up Close to Nature.
This is a selection of recent insect shots. The Privet Hawk-Moth was found (as a chrysalis) in the garden of our friend Nigel, who brought it around for John to see, once it had pupated.

Scarce Chaser
As we were in the area we paid a short visit to the Grand Western Canal at the weekend and got these newly emerged Scarce Chasers, a first for us. We saw 4 or 5 individuals.

Just a few bits from the last week or so. Mostly Butterflies and Bugs, (it's that time of year again). The Peregrine was taken at an undisclosed site on the coast.
