PIED WHEATEAR at TREVOSE HEAD

HERE ARE SOME SHOTS OF THE FEMALE PIED WHEATEAR 
AT TREVOSE HEAD, WHICH IS SHOWING QUITE WELL. 
THERE WERE A FEW BIRDERS AROUND AND IT WAS 
NICE TO CATCH UP WITH THE PLYMOUTH BOYS.

SOUTHERN MIGRANT HAWKER AT PORTHGWARRA.

TODAY WE WENT TO PORTHGWARRA HOPING FOR THE 
SOUTHERN MIGRANT HAWKER BUT EXPECTING IT TO HAVE GONE. 
IT WAS STILL THERE AND VERY EASY TO SEE BUT BUSY CHASING OFF 
A COUPLE OF EMPERORS. IT HARDLY EVER LANDED.

PURPLE AND GOLD.

WE WENT TO BRENEY COMMON TODAY HOPING FOR BLACK DARTER 
BUT DIDN'T SEE ANY. THERE WERE HOWEVER PLENTY OF 
PURPLE HAIRSTREAKS, BRIMSTONES AND SILVER-WASHED FRITILLARIES.
