Tehidy Country Park

We spent the afternoon at Tehidy Country Park and young birds were everywhere. Because we had such a good time, in lovely weather we are posting lots of pics. Nothing rare but enjoyable just the same. We would have had more but a lot of fledglings stayed in cover, very frustrating when all you can see is movement.

These 3 Moths were supposed to be in yesterdays post, but got missed.

All quiet on the South-Western front!

The Great Tits in the box in our garden have been busy with a second brood and we can hear the young in there, they must be nearly ready to fledge. The squirrel is back on the peanuts so she probably has young somewhere.
We haven't posted anything for over a week and birding has been pretty quiet, everything is sitting on nests. John has been busy with Moths and Bugs however, so here is a selection from the past month or so.

Sharks, Birds and Butterflies

We had a brilliant day out yesterday at St. Gothian Sands and Nanquidno. The first set of
pics are from St.Gothian.

There were a lot of Basking Sharks in the Bay at Nanquidno, probably making their way
around to Sennen Cove.
