A few birds at last.

Went to Hell's Mouth and The Lizard at the weekend. Still not a lot of birds around.
This Kestrel must have had a recent kill, judging by the bloody talons!

Don't know what species of Lizard this is. We took it at Kynance cove on The Lizard.

A good way to tell the Large Skipper from the Small Skipper is by the hook on the end of the antenna, also Small Skipper tend to be more orange on the club.

  1. Very nice images, especially the Kestrel.
Presume it's a Common Lizard. Love the green beetle.

  6. Stunning set as always. The Kestrel, a worthy favourite; and a great tip about the 'hook' ID.
