Birds at Last!!

Had a great mornings birding (for a change). Bumped into John and Kate at Buttermilk Hill,

and we all had great views of Ring Ouzel and this stunning Redstart.

  3. Redstarts are lovely little birds to flicking their tales.
    I was fortunate enough to capture a video clip of a couple of juveniles last year.
    Great images of all your birds.. Kestrels a plenty in Cheshire at the moment.

  7. Terrific photos as always. You always see such a nice variety of birds. We still have a few Snowy Owls being spotted here and there. Thought they'd be gone by now back to the Arctic. Guess not.

    These migrants arrived here, but I still can't manage proper shots since they spend much time on the ground or on the roof!! :(
    Got to set up a hide close by! LOL!

  18. The male redstart is beautiful and the picture stunning. I still have to see a ringed ouzel, never met any!!! Beautiful set of pictures!
