We have had terrible computer problems, all fixed now, hence the lack of posts.
We thought we had better get something up or you'll all think we're dead and buried.
John's taken these over the last few weeks.

Glad you're back posting, stunning images, especially the Black Winged Stilt.
ReplyDeleteAbsolute crackers here very sharp with well defined colours love the first and the Black wing stilts.
ReplyDeleteWow, that black winged stilt is super and I love the family of mallards!
ReplyDeleteWelcome back, you have been missed and I am happy to see you both are among the living. The Cormorant and Stonechat would be my absolute favorites here, yet they are all wonderful~
ReplyDeleteOh, and you're back in fine form: Stunning images!! (As always)
ReplyDeleteNice varied selection John, hope your computer is sorted!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you had pc probs, hope its all sorted and see plenty of pics from you both now, Great Stilt shots by the way .
ReplyDeleteBet Sue took those.
I hope that all is settling down with the computer - great when they're working fine, but a real worry and very time-consuming when things start going wrong!
ReplyDeleteI can't help but be impressed (and extremely envious !!!) by the Stilt images, but from an artistic point of view, although of more common species, the Oystercatcher and Whooper Swan (plus the Mute Swan) images do it for me. Beautifull !!!
This is a great collection. Well done.
ReplyDeleteGreat set of pictures. They are a mix of some species I can still see and those I used to see in the UK.
ReplyDeleteCheers - Stewart M - Melbourne.
PS: sorry for slow reply - I have been out of phone / Internet range for most of the week - it was strangely pleasant!
Great photos...glad you've got the computer "sorted" now. They are a necessary evil, these days !
