It is an incredibly beautiful little birds. My wife is a quilter and she has made some stunning quilts with subtle shades of brown and beige. Bright and bold has its place but so does the delicacy of muted colouurs. Great pictures.
They are quite well camouflaged in winter against twigs and brown leaves, it's the same with the Cirl Buntings here I found. Great shots of this gorgeous little bird. Sorry it's taken so long to get over to your blog, what great images you take.

ReplyDeleteIt is a beautifully marked bird. It looks a lot like our Lapland Longspurs here in the states.
