Hi. I'm visiting from 'Viewing nature with Eileen,' and happy I took the stroll over. Lovely photography. Great resource. I love critters. Look forward to following you. -Cheers, Mac
Cracking set of shots John, the Redpoll shots are superb, not done much lately and the PCs is playing up and had to drop it into the doctor for a overhaul. Hope to see you soon.
Great images, John! Don't take Ludo's comment to heart too much (or perhaps it was an April Fool comment?) - I've noticed just how bright and contrasty Siskins and Redpolls are now that they're coming into their summer finery. And the feathers are also well defined and 'sharp' to the naked eye. I had the pleasure of holding a female Siskin a couple of days ago - a beautiful bird. I picked her up as she was just sitting on the ground (perhaps she'd hit a window?). I'm pleased to say that she soon flew away.
Make the most of these birds whilst you can. They're thinning out in our garden now - just 6 Siskin and 8 Redpoll today!
Hello This is really beautiful these animals to get as close to the camera then watch as they drink with relish .. perfect, the "photo shoot" was part of both managed greetings Frank
