A selection of shots from the last 2 weeks.
We did hear a Cuckoo and had a fleeting glance of Ring Ouzel
The Snowy Owl is just a record shot. It's the second we have seen in Cornwall in 8 years.

Wow, a Snowy Owl. What a sight I imagine to see in the wild. Still waiting for a decent photo of a Jay. You done well there.
ReplyDeleteAmazing photographs you have taken. Great deals on birds. Greetings.
ReplyDeleteMy son nearly came down for the Owl but it kept vanishing. Well done at getting a shot of it. Great selection of birds.
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures, especially of the garganey, a bird I've never caught up with
ReplyDeleteIt was awesome to watch these magnificent birds. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteWow, superb! A snowy Owl and a Dipper and so on. Great series of lovely images!
ReplyDeletegreetings,
Maria
Great series of images. Garganey is a real nemesis bird for me. It had eluded me several times and then I saw one in Ethiopia a couple of years ago. Even then it was only a female and I have yet to see a male! Cornwall seems like a great place to live and bird. Make sure you get out there again today, John, and have your camera at the ready!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the great bird photos :-) You have been fabulous bird watching. Greetings.
ReplyDeleteGreat series, superb images, well done John, keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteoh boy...
ReplyDeleteLove Mother's creatures. All gorgeous shots.
An absolutely wonderful set of images, John. What an amazing fortnight you had! You'll probably not be surprised that I'm very jealous of your Snowy Owl! I suspect I'll go to my grave without ever seeing one!
ReplyDeleteMy very best wishes to you both - - - Richard
A beautiful series of photos! Love seeing your variety of birds.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful images, and the Spoonbill, nothing like it. Well done both of you.
