Hi. You can find almost anything on the beach. The beach is a treasure trove for birds.
ReplyDeleteMale Black Restart, what a corker of a bird and nicely captured as well.
ReplyDeleteI think that seaweed contains a whole range of little organisms these various birds find good eating, so it's perhaps not so surprising that so many of them are found at the beach.
ReplyDeleteThat Black Redstart certainly is a beauty.
ReplyDeleteaw, such lovely shots of wonderful creatures.

What a bird the black redstart is!
ReplyDeleteCute birds are on the beach and maybe I find food there. I think so, but I'm not a knower. Regards.
ReplyDeleteSuper images, John which have got me dreaming of my stay on the Scillies in a couple of months. Last time we were there, at the same time of year, the beach at the bottom of the garden had all those species, plus Rock Pipit. I think the main attraction for the birds was Sand Hoppers - when the tide came in you could barely see the ground as it was covered in them. I'm really looking forward to getting back there!
ReplyDeleteTake good care. With my best wishes to you and Sue - - - Richard
