SOME MORE SHOTS FROM BRAZIL, GETTING THERE SLOWLY.
WE HAD A GOOD TIME IN BRAZIL ALTHOUGH IT WAS HARD
GOING AT TIMES WITH LOTS OF RAIN AND LIGHTENING.
FOR OBVIOUS REASONS WE WEREN'T IN THE RIGHT FRAME OF
MIND AND THIS IS THE FIRST TRIP WE HAVE DONE SINCE LOSING
LEE SO IT WAS ALWAYS GOING TO BE DIFFICULT. WE THINK
THOUGH THAT IT HAS HELPED US GET BACK INTO OUR HOBBY.

THESE REALLY ARE AS BAD-TEMPERED AS THEY LOOK.
THEY SCREAM A LOT AND THINK NOTHING OF CHARGING AT YOU.
Cute birds, tucan delights me with its beak, and other birds with colors. Greetings.
ReplyDeleteIt is not easy to go on with that big lost! It must be very hard from time to time!
ReplyDeleteI feel sorry for you. I am glad to read that you find back into your hobby.
The images are beautiful!
Thanks fot sharing.
Warm Greetings, Maria
Some great looking birds there. We are hard done by in this country for really colourful birds!! Good to see you both getting back into the wildlife and photography.
ReplyDeleteHi. Awesome. Brassy-Breasted Tanager. Fantastic bird.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great photos. Birds are amazing.
ReplyDeleteAmazing photos of beautiful birds!!!. Love the last portrait.. Funny bird.. :-)))
ReplyDeleteI have birded fairly extensively in South America, but never in Brazil. There is a whole range of species there not found in other countries on the continent. Great series of images here of some very distinctive species.
ReplyDeleteIf you had difficult weather conditions, John, your fabulous photography gives no indication of that! The birds are wonderful, especially those Tanagers, and the lighting and surrounds are so perfect that they look as if they could have been studio set-ups! No, I'm not suggesting that they were studio set-ups!
ReplyDeleteI'm so pleased to hear that your trip also had some therapeutic aspects. With my very best wishes to you both - - - Richard
What beautiful birds, fantastic photos.
