Went to Land's End yesterday for the Black-headed Wagtail. Not easy to get and really these are the best of a bad lot. Judging by the lack of photos around I guess most people had the same problem.
Also went to Brew for the Blue-headed but didn't see it, only massive clouds of Midges.
A brilliant bird and not a bad effort on the photography too! Not too keen on the Midges - you'd have a job seeing a Blue-headed through these!!! Well done !!
Great shots John under the circumstances, Trinity Pool is not the easist place to get good shots because of the distance, so Digiscoping is probably the best choice. Nice One.
Nice shots! I was particularly impressed with the last one of the midges. I can relate to that one. The songbirds have shown up, and along with them an onslaught of mosquitos and other bugs. I guess they go together.

ReplyDeleteWell done John. I'd be well happy with those!
ReplyDeleteGood effort John, I visited both Brew and Lands End Saturday and saw very little!!!
ReplyDeleteNever having seen one of these before, I'd be very happy with these shots John.
ReplyDeleteWell done for getting these images:-)
