I finally caught up with the very obliging juvenile Rose-coloured Starling at Lands End.
The last 2 pictures were all I could get of the Adult in Lizard Village 2 weeks ago.
The local Starlings don't seem very friendly!
Below; The adult Rose-coloured Starling in Lizard Village.
Looks like its being turned down entry by the starling border control guards! Despite all its pleading.
ReplyDeleteA great record of your two sightings, John. I went after one of these in Wales once, but missed out, so it's still on my 'wanted' list.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes to you both - - - - Richard
I am not sure I would have recognized this juvenile bird had I seen it.
ReplyDeleteCracking bird. Very rare here in Kent. Iv'e only ever seen 1 adult.
ReplyDeleteLovely work John, best shots of it I have seen.

Never seen one, so thanks for sharing...it'd be one I'd be looking up in my bird books for ages if I'd seen it.
ReplyDeleteGreat images mate, it certainly is a very obliging bird.
ReplyDeleteWow great images! lovely.

On the ball as usual, looks like a very obliging bird.
