WADERS

THERE ARE SOME GREAT WADERS AROUND AT THE MOMENT
INCLUDING THIS BUFF-BREASTED SANDPIPER.
MOST OF THESE WERE TAKEN ON MARAZION BEACH.
THE LAST 2 WERE TAKEN AT THE GANNEL ESTUARY.

  2. Congratulations on the Buff-breasted Sandpiper, John. That is a rare shorebird even here and much sought after each fall when it migrates through in small numbers.

  8. Stunningly beautiful images, John! Every one is absolutely top-notch! What a gorgeous bird that Buff-breasted Sandpiper is - but a Sanderling will always give any wader a good run for my money!

  11. Hello John, with these lovely captures of these birds it makes me realize that I miss the sea and beach. I used to live near it but for year now I live more inland. It is therefore great to see these birds trough your photos.

    Roos
