We saw this diagram in a book and realised we had most of the pictures to go with it.
Notice the shed skin in the first Spider photo.
Anyone that has read our blog before will know that I have a real fear of Spiders.
It took all my nerve to edit these. Can't guarantee the names are correct, but there is only
so much looking at books and Spider websites a person can take. Sue
Excellent set of pictures once again and I lvoe the ladybird diagram ;-) I'm damned afraid of snake but not spiders, and there are almost none of them over here....
ReplyDeleteHi John and Sue. What a collection. Superb... and I wish I could emulate them. Not over keen on the creepies myself Sue...well done both of you.
ReplyDeleteUnlike Chris, I am terrified of spiders unless I can see them before they pounce on me... I am fascinated by them enough to like photographing them, but if they even think in my direction, I am gone. Your insect images are all superb~
ReplyDeleteGreat macros, Sue. While I don't share your fear of spiders, I do understand perfectly well. It is that same panicy feeling I get when even thinking about tunnels and confined spaces. I appreciate that you did such a fine job on editing them in spite of your fear!
ReplyDeletecheers,
Wilma
Hi Both usual great selection some brill images there esp the dragonflies. Been trying for some this week but they are never still long enough, and the autofocus on my 100-300mm has packed up and manual focus is not good. Dont worry Sue the the spider season has not peaked yet.
ReplyDeletehope to cu soon.
