Just a few images from the past few days, haven't really done much birding. This Robin kept me company when I was waiting for a Kingfisher. It didn't show.
I've never seen a Duck trying to swallow a Frog, which he did after a struggle.
Nice shots as always John. A couple of years ago I watched a Mallard swallow a large frog in our garden pond. I understood that the ducks sometimes eat them before breeding to increase calcium intake for eggshell production. Probably a load of tosh, especially since yours is clearly a drake, back to the drawing board.....

Fabulous shots. The Robin is cute! I received some pictures from a member today hand feeding a Robin. I get close, but never that close!
