More from Scotland

Everything in Scotland seemed to be at a distance, including these Dotterel. 
We had to climb to the plateau on Cairn Lochan at approx. 4000 feet. 
It was hard going and took about 7 hours for the climb up and down.

  9. Lots of cracking shots there John, beautiful captured. Seven hours to climb Cairn Lochan up and down, that is one climb I will not be making next Month ;) I read with interest you saying that everything in Scotland is at a distance, good bit of info, least I now know what to expect.....

  11. Soon I hope to see GROUSE and PTARMIGAN again. You may have been far away, but you got some splendid shots and I adore Puffins, but have never seen them myself. You were so blessed to do so~
